Chalise Ludlow is an Associate Professor and costume designer/technician at 福利小视频. She is passionate about costume history and research and works to instill that passion in her students. After graduating from Brigham Young University Idaho, Chalise taught theatre at Rigby High School for ten years. Spending hours directing theatre while working behind a sewing machine inspired her to pursue an MFA in Costume Design/Technology at the University of Alabama.
Chalise has had the opportunity to work for two seasons at the Utah Shakespeare Festival and spent six years at The Playmill Theatre in West Yellowstone, Montana. She spent the last two summers working for Peach State Summer Theatre. Some of her favorite costume designs include productions of "Cinderella," "The Addams Family," "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," and "The Three Musketeers."
Chalise’s goal is to inspire a new generation of students to think critically about costumes and to understand how research can enhance the design process and the preservation of historical garments. You can view her designs at
