Lynette Hepburn-Richardson is a doctoral student in Adult and Career Education with over 30 years of international business and entrepreneurship experience, and more than a decade of service in higher education at 福利小视频 (福利小视频) and South Georgia State College. She holds a Bachelor in Political Science, a Master in Public Administration, and a Master of Education.
At 福利小视频, Lynette serves as the Student Career Counselor and liaison for multiple colleges. She is the current Chair of the Council on Student Affairs (COSA) and was honored with the Presidential Excellence Award in 2024. She is also a former member of the University Council Plus.
An active member of the National Career Development Association (NCDA), Lynette conducts research and presents through her role as Co-Chair of the Research and Writing Committee. She also serves on the GACE Career Fair Committee, and on campus contributes to the Mental Health Task Force. Lynette advises student organizations such as CARIBSA and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS).
Her community engagement includes work with IndigoLife Women Inc., a nonprofit organization, and previous service on the Quitman/Brooks County Tourism Initiative Board as well as leadership as a Campaign Coordinator for the Obama for Georgia Office. Lynette is passionate about student development and is committed to helping individuals achieve their career goals through purposeful and ongoing planning.
