LCOBA Study Abroad Scholarship Program

The Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration (LCOBA) at 福利小视频 has established a scholarship program to assist business students with their study abroad endeavors. Scholarships are available for approved study abroad initiatives and are administered by the Study Abroad Scholarship Committee, which consists of LCOBA faculty members and the Study Abroad Advisor at the Center for International Programs (CIP).

There is no separate application to apply for the LCOBA Study Abroad Scholarships.
Your study abroad program application automatically includes your scholarship application.

Deadlines

  • Maymester and Summer programs: February 15

Eligibility Requirements

  • Students must be committed to their study abroad program by the scholarship deadline listed above.
  • Students participating in faculty-led study abroad programs must pay their initial application deposit and first installment by the scholarship deadline.
  • Students must be enrolled in a degree program in the Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration.
  • Students must be participating in a credit-bearing study abroad program.
  • Students must have an institutional GPA that meets eligibility standards:
    •  minimum 2.0 GPA (undergraduate) or 3.0 GPA (graduate)
  • Students must be in Good Academic Standing.
  • Students are eligible to receive one study abroad scholarship per year.

Awards

  • Subject to available funding, eligible students may be considered for a scholarship. Award amounts depend on the number of applicants and are usually around up to $1,000.

Scholarships are paid in one installment before the final payment deadline of the student’s study abroad program. Funds are not paid directly to students; they are credited to the student’s study abroad account at the Center for International Programs (CIP).

If a student withdraws from a study abroad program after receiving an award, scholarship funds may be withdrawn at the discretion of the Study Abroad Committee Chair.
